CHEF ILI'S CHOCOLATE CAKE
Well, right after the MARA interview i decided to head for the store and get some heavy cream and butter to bake a cake ^^! This is how it turned up to look like :

hahha i got it from AFC and all Chef Michael's cookings are just irresistible!

For the Cake:
4 ounces of 70% dark chocolate
1.5 cups sugar2 cups pastry flour
1-teaspoon baking soda
1-teaspoon salt
1-cup sour cream
1 stick of butter (1/2 cup), room temperature
2 eggs1-teaspoon vanilla
¼-cup hot water
For the Dark Chocolate Icing:
½-cup 35% heavy whipping cream
½- cup corn syrup
8 ounces70% dark chocolate, chopped finely
For the Whipped Cream:
1 cup 35% heavy whipping cream
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1-tablespoon vanilla

Well it did'nt turn out soft and spongy hahha but i guess it's good for a first timer ^^~ (well i did try to bake one a few weeks ago but i spilled most of the batter before baking -.-'. So, never give up yah! hahha. Btw it tasted more like brownies because i used normal flour instead of pastry flour :) Bonne apetite!~
